BioBlade™ Concept

Adapting a concept well known in the computer industry – that of “blades” – Ternion Bio Industries has designed its Photo BioReactor as a series of BioBlade™ units that slide into a chassis structure. Each BioBlade unit has its own 250 gallon water tank and pump. If one BioBlade unit experiences any mechanical problems, its isolation from the other BioBlade reactors means that the rest of the Photo BioReactor system is not affected.

Each BioBlade is a metal structure with horizontal tubes that circle around to each level.
