Carbon Recycling

With our patent-pending Photo BioReactor system, Ternion Bio goes beyond simply sequestering, or storing, carbon dioxide and other harmful emissions. Unlike approaches to dealing with harmful emissions by burying them underground or at the bottom of the ocean, Ternion Bio recycles the emissions as food for algae that itself grows and becomes the raw material for a range of beneficial products.

Ternion Bio’s scalable Photo BioReactor technology uses captured carbon dioxide gas and converts it into a clean combination of algae and oxygen. We can grow essentially any strain of algae in our controlled, closed-loop system, providing tremendous flexibility in the “output” markets we serve.

By recycling rather than simply sequestering carbon dioxide, Ternion Bio safely and completely recycles harmful emissions into beneficial products. And unlike algae ponds and raceways, our systems will not experience the issues related to contamination and loss of production through system failure.
